The World Design Capital Conference (WDCC), sponsored by the Shanghai Municipal Government, was held from September 15th to September 18th at the China Ship Museum in Huangpu Riverside, Shanghai. Li Qiang, Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, Gong Zheng, Mayor of Shanghai, Xu Xiaolan, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Wu Qing, Executive Deputy Mayor of Shanghai, Zhang Wei, Deputy Mayor of Shanghai, and other leaders attended the event and participated in related activities. Two design works of the School of Art and Design, Shanghai University of Engineering Science were selected into the Shanghai Design 100+, and were invited to participate in this design event as award-winning works.
