He has been approved 4 invention patents, 58 utility model patentsand 59 shape design patents. He has undertaken more than 20 national, provincialand ministerial scientific research projects, such as the National 863 Program,the Humanities and Social Sciences Fund of the Ministry of Education, and theNational Art Fund.
Hehas won the Red Dot International Industrial Design Award, the best industrialdesign single award in the national finals of the national 3D competition, thespecial prize of Shaanxi Division, the second prize of the Science andTechnology Award of China Special Equipment Inspection Association (research onsafety and security technology of public transportation escalators based onrisk), the title of "Top Ten Designers" of the Innovation DesignAward of China Industrial Design and Research Institute, the Best ConceptDesign Award, the first prize of Shanghai Teaching Achievement, Shanghai Design100+, and Shanghai Yucai Award. More than 20 scientific research achievementawards or teaching achievement awards, such as the first prize of the third andfourth Jiangsu Provincial University Art Education Scientific Research PaperCompetition, and the third prize of Changzhou Science and Technology ProgressAward. He has guided graduate students to win 1 first prize, 2 second prizesand 4 third prizes in the design category of the Taiwan International StudentCreative Design Competition, the National College Student Art ExhibitionShaanxi Division, the Shaanxi "Intellectual Property Cup" DesignCompetition, and the Shanghai "Huichuang Youth" Industrial DesignCompetition, a total of 88 awards. In 2015 and 2016, he was awarded the titleof "Excellent Instructor" in the "Intellectual PropertyCup" Shaanxi College Student Industrial Design Competition. The firstprize of the 3rd China Green Packaging and Safety Design Competition, the 2016Annual Contribution Award of Shanghai Industrial Design Association, and theOutstanding Instructor Award of the National Industrial Design Competition.
